AICT seeks to consolidate and strengthen the efforts of Belarusian NGOs to increase the effectiveness of their programs and activities at all levels through facilitating cooperation, exchange of resources, coordination of efforts, lobbying and advocacy. Currently, Association unites 10 NGOs which represent all regions of Belarus and provide information, counseling, educational, and medical services to the youth, women, injecting drug users, people living with HIV/AIDS and their families, and commercial sex workers.
Association is represented in UN HIV Forum, National Monitoring and Evaluation Council, and the Working Group for the Preparation of the National UNGASS Report.
Association is a member of AIDS Action Europe - a pan European partnership of HIV/AIDS NGOs.






Construction of a nuclear power station in Belarus (East Europe) is to start in January 2009. According to plans, the first bloc of the nuclear power station is to be launched in 2016, the second in 2018. It is planned to use water-moderated water-cooled reactors of the third generation. According to experts, the nuclear power station will be constructed by Russia (Chernobyl model) and Iran.
There are currently more than 12% people in the regions of European country Belarus living with HIV/AIDS. They are men, women and children and they are our friends, families and neighbors.
